Kinetic Sculpture: Circumambulation:
A kinetic sculpture that is inspired by the ritual of circumambulation, or Tawaf, could be a visually striking and engaging representation of the movement and spiritual significance of the Hajj pilgrimage. The sculpture could feature a series of interconnected gears, levers, or other mechanical elements that rotate or move around a central focal point, representing the movement of the pilgrims as they circumambulate the Kaaba.
The sculpture could also incorporate elements of Islamic architecture and calligraphy, such as the shape of the Kaaba or verses from the Quran, to further emphasize the spiritual significance of the Tawaf. The use of lighting and sound could also be employed to enhance the immersive and engaging experience of the sculpture.
Additionally, the sculpture could be designed to be interactive, allowing viewers to activate the movement of the sculpture through touch or a control panel, which represents the collective effort of the pilgrims and the interconnectedness of their journey. This interactive component can be used to educate people about the Hajj pilgrimage and its significance in Islamic culture.
I began to understand that the goal of psychic development is the self. There is no linear evolution; there is only a circumambulation of the self.

Hajj‑ Circumambulation Kinetic Sculpture
Hajj is an islamic annual pilarimage (journey taken by religions motive) to mecca (The holiest city for mulism).
A mandatory ritual for muslims that must be carried out at least in the lifetime.
Circumambulation, Tawaf (طواف) is one of the Islamic rituals of pilgrimage. During the Hajj and Umrah, pilgrims are to circumambulate the Kaaba (most sacred site in Islam) seven times, in a counter‑clockwise direction.
The circling is believed to demonstrate the unity of the believers in the worship of the One God, as they move in harmony together around the Kaaba, while supplicating to the God.

‑Each person walks counterclockwise seven times around the kaaba. (The cube shaped building)
‑Trots (walking bristly) batween the hills of Safa & Morwah (Mountains) seven times.
‑Drinking of sacred water from Zam‑Zam water well.

Revolving around the self
Pilgrimage has had its opponent in all of the world's religion, Pilgrims have been accused of placing too much faith in the perticular places (as opposed to trusting the omnipresence of god) of being distracted by the temptations of travel & seeking purely material blessing rather than spritual enlightenment.
within islam, some mystical sufi traditions have emphasized the importance inner inspiration over the pilgrimage.

Digital Circumambulation
Human performing circumambulation in the digital space.

Rube Goldberg Machine
Intentionally designed to perform a simple task in indirect and over complicated fashion. A series of simple devices that are linked together to produce a damino effect, in which each device is triggers the next one.
The original goal is achieved only after many steps.
